“I'd like to help you doctor
Yes I really really would
But the din in my head
It's too much and it's no good
I'm standing in a windy tunnel
Shouting through the roar
And I'd like to give the information
You're asking for."

“One writes of scars healed, a loose parallel to the pathology of the skin, but there is no such thing in the life of an individual. There are open wounds, shrunk sometimes to the size of a pin-prick but wounds still. The marks of suffering are more comparable to the loss of a finger, or of the sight of an eye. We may not miss them, either, for one minute in a year, but if we should there is nothing to be done about it.” ― F. Scott Fitzgerald, Tender Is the Night

Happy Belated V-Day! :D

Fri was the last V-Day in vj for me. Haha technically still the 2nd one la, but well, a lil nostalgic la. Haha had fever the night after eating at chinatown with the geog tutors and geog people and like touring the old places in chinatown, but still dragged myself down to sch on fri for the V-day exchange and to hear the guys play, couldn't miss it la. Haha fun day, fri. :D I'm so much better now, i have so much confidence in my mum's medicine, it made me better in like 2 days la. Haha. Went to eat with the class guys and alex before the og bbq in the evening. Haha og bbq was funnnnn! :D Haha the people are really cool and nice huh? :) Haha was exhausted when i got home late at night. Then suddenly, as i was flopping down on the sofa, my elder bro just walked through the front door like it was normal for him to be there. My face = stunned. Haha he came back from malaysia to spend V-Day with usssssss, awwwwwww. :) but he left last night. Somebody going out today hor? Haha.

Well V-Day itself was fun! I got to watch Ben Button at lastttt! Haha i cried a lil in the dark. I can't stand it when babies die. Haha. Met kath, len and leon later for shopping and dinner! :D geraldine and thomas joined us afterwards for awhile and after sending gerrie off, we went to have supper at shokudo. Haha there we saw some people from vj. :) It was really fun la, yesterday! Haha the past few days took a bit much from me i guess, when i got home i couldn't sleep, strangely, like there was something i had to do and let go off. Haha then finally, i got tired, or realised that i'd be get even sicker staying up late, so i went to sleep. And guess what time i woke up at!! Haha 12!! oh gosh, today is like the latest i've woken up at in like ages. Haha, i must have been tired. :) I finally had lunch at home after gosh knows how long just now, and now i shall sort out my file and study!!:D Swim laterrrrr!! :D

There was a myth or something about a person who could hold a bird in his hand, and no matter how hard the hand was crushed, the bird would be safe - there was something so strong and safe about the person that he could always protect the bird. The bird would pop out without a feather ruffled. It might be little or scared - bird's hearts always beat like crazy when they are held - but then, it would open its mouth, start to sing or whatever, and it would suddenly seem very big. Yeah, how meaningful huh? :)
