"Second star to the right and straight on 'til morning"

“I'd like to help you doctor
Yes I really really would
But the din in my head
It's too much and it's no good
I'm standing in a windy tunnel
Shouting through the roar
And I'd like to give the information
You're asking for."

“One writes of scars healed, a loose parallel to the pathology of the skin, but there is no such thing in the life of an individual. There are open wounds, shrunk sometimes to the size of a pin-prick but wounds still. The marks of suffering are more comparable to the loss of a finger, or of the sight of an eye. We may not miss them, either, for one minute in a year, but if we should there is nothing to be done about it.” ― F. Scott Fitzgerald, Tender Is the Night

Haha it's been awhile since i've blogged. Just got back like 3 days ago from geog trip! Haha then due to unforeseen circumstances went straight for council nominees camp during the night i got back. Haha sooo i finally got to sleep in my bed after ages on wed night. Ahhh... I love home. :D Haha i was so so zombified-ly tired. Haha even during geog trip i didn't sleep much, like around 3-4 hours each night for 4 nights straight and like council camp was the worst cos the poor people only slept like 1-2 hours or NOT at all (eg. poor nich). Hai, no wonder we were so dead, and like emotional-ly pissed off. Haha, welll anyway, geog trip was spectacular i guess. Haha went to a quarry, climbed a vertical limestone tower karst to the cave on top, FINALLY went up petronas towers though it was admittedly a bit of a let-down, MET YANN QI of all people in the middle of KUANTAN, Malaysia, at the BEACH. Screams: He's stalking me!! Haha nahh NJ was apparently taking the same geog route as us. -.- Haha and and and got to shop at KLCC and this like suburban mall called allamanda or smth like that. Haha we also went to the dead city of Putrajaya at night, and it is like soooo cool!! But the disparity between the inner city decline that we saw and like Putrajaya which is like the pinnacle of the Malaysian dream, was like quite sad la. I really loved the train ride we took from KL sentral to KLIA. The train is unbelievably comfortable!! Even better than S'pore i'd say. Haha quite surprised! :D Haha yes yes geog trip was so eventful! :D Haha loved it, though there were some parts where i felt emo, due to like the lack of sleep and eating fast food all the time - YUCK. Haha the nights we spent over at the hotels were fun too! Except that time in Dynasty, it was FREAKY. :/ Haha swiss garden was like the best. Speaking of which...SWITZERLAND TRIP next in JUNE!! :D Haha!! I can't believe i got in. Seriously, i applied not even thinking i'd get in. Damn happy. :) Haha yay yay!! :D Gosh.
Haha anyway, went out yesterday with weirdo vi ting! We watched 'PUSH' which was complicated but cool. Then we shopped!! :) Haha and had dinner in this place with nice ramen - recommended by the weirdo. Haha gah should have got the tom yum ramen!! Haha but i liked the beef ramen too. :)
Today was like Music Fest meeting in the morning! I was stuck in the traffic. -.- Even when i left home earlier and accidentally left the washing machine on. -.- Haha fortunately, when i got back later the place hadn't been flooded and like the clothes smell weird so i'm re-washing. Gah. And trying to salvage it. Haha. Watched the movie 'The Hours' cos i've never watched it before, and it was soo depressing. Haha so i watched till i couldn't take it anymore, switched it off and fell asleep. Haha ahh the luxury of sleep. :D Haha doing music fest stuff now! :) Haha then off to cook dinner! The family's out btw, all in malaysia. Saddd life! Haha nvm, swimming/ tanning tmr!! :D Cheers!!! :)
