"Second star to the right and straight on 'til morning"

“I'd like to help you doctor
Yes I really really would
But the din in my head
It's too much and it's no good
I'm standing in a windy tunnel
Shouting through the roar
And I'd like to give the information
You're asking for."

“One writes of scars healed, a loose parallel to the pathology of the skin, but there is no such thing in the life of an individual. There are open wounds, shrunk sometimes to the size of a pin-prick but wounds still. The marks of suffering are more comparable to the loss of a finger, or of the sight of an eye. We may not miss them, either, for one minute in a year, but if we should there is nothing to be done about it.” ― F. Scott Fitzgerald, Tender Is the Night

I'm waiting for the chicken to defrost to cook my lunch. Haha. Awoke to a beautiful day today. :) Haha it's sunny yet cool and there's a nice nice breeze. Ahhhh perfect. Haha and yes, i realise that maybe i've gotten into the studying pace at last. :) Haha woke up, did stuff that i usually procrastinate and don't do. Haha. Very glad. Oh and btw, it made my day when that song i posted here last night was playing on the radio when i switched it on. :) Haha talk about fate. Awww. Damn happy. :) Anyway here's yesterday in short: After a hard day of studying with kat at our 'secret' studying place, ahaha we went to clarke quay at night to get drinks and met up with thomas and his pretty, tanned cousin. Haha!! Oh yea, so at least it was quite fun a day. :) Oh and finally! I understand complex numbers 3!! Whoo hoo! Haha finished it yesterday, staring on complex 4 today if i manage to finish stats 7 which looks pretty challenging. :) Going to airport later to study with the rest. Haha gonna read geog now in the mean time. :)
OH and i read this passage and find it very interesting and poignant. Haha here it is: By N.Calder, The restless Earth - " We can depict Mother Earth as a lady of 46, if her 'years' are mega centuries (equating to 4600 million years). Her childhood was only captured in its lateness. She was quite bare of life until she was 42 and flowering plants did not appear until she was 45 - just one year ago. At that time, dinosaurs were her pets and the break up of the super continent -Pangaea was in progress. the dinosaurs passed away 8 MONTHS AGO and the upstart mammals replaced them. In the middle of LAST WEEK, some man-like apes, in Africa, turned into ape-like men and at the LAST WEEKEND, Mother Earthbegan shivering with the latest series of ice ages. Just over FOUR HOURS has elapsed since a new species calling itself homosapiens started to chase other animals and in the LAST HOUR, it invented agriculture and settles down. 10 MINUTES AGO, Jesus was preaching on a hill farther along a faultline. JUST ONE MINUTE has passed, out of these 46 years, since men began the industrial revolution, 3 human lifetimes ago. During that time, he has multiplied his numbers and skills prodigiously and ransacked the planet for metal and fuel. "
WOW. It's stunning. Seriously. Haha anyway i realise that i left the kettle on. Haha it must be boiling now, haha gtg le! CHEERS! :D

you're my best kept secret. :)
