HAHA. I'm so addicted to this song, like bees are to honey or whatever else that can describe this. Haha it's so happy, it's catchy. :) Haha music is one of the greatest gifts, seriously. Haha!! :D
Anyway, taking time off my 'busy' afternoon to blog about the THAI trip. Haha admittedly i was consumed by guilt at some times cos of ahem certain reasons. But it was all chilled la, had so much funnnn. Haha shopping is totally to die for... haha bought a lot, damn happy le!! :DDD haha i keep feeling like taking out my stuff to rmb that i've actually gone on the trip! haha the trip passed freaking fast, like a blur of shopping/eating/travelling around. Haha but it was all time well spent. :D haha chock full of activities ttm. :) haha ok the first day we left sg and reached thai at late at night, so we just headed out to buy our supper after checking in at the hotel (myhotel) haha thats what it's called. haha the hotel was seriously not bad sia! haha considering it was freaking cheap sia. Haha shared a room with susu while ah lian shared a room with her sec sch frined joanne. :)
Haha the next day we took the tuk-tuk out to platinum where the shopping began! haha tried to be thrifty since it was the first day, HAHA but still ended up buying quite a few pieces. Haha soo later we went to century world which according to susu's research, is one of the world's largest shopping centres. Haha chilled around and had dinner thr, then checked out the festival/flea thingy that was going on outside it after. Haha then it was back to the hotel and sleeppp but not before a hair dyeing attempt at night which i don't wish to comment on. Damn tired sia. Haha on fri we went to chinatown in the morning and shared a tasty *ahem* SF soup with yh and j, yh and the rest had bird's nest. Haha i wasn't impressed with chinatown...It was freaking HOT and sunny and we were walking on the side roads with the motorbikes and trucks and it was freaking dangerous. But the sun and the freaking polluted/dusty air just totally owned me, sneezed like shit, was worried that i was falling sick. HAHA. Susu seemed at home sia, freaking she didn't sweat, if i rmb correctly. So the rest bought like CNY goodies like pork floss and the weird crabs snack that yh bought. Haha after that we finally went to a place that had air con, Siam city. Haha it turns out that i actually went to the same place during my short stay in thai during dec. haha so anyway, we had lunch and walked around, but the stuff there were like ex-er. LOL so didn't buy anything. LOL. After we went walking at some shops outside that i feel has the same concept as far east. Later we did pedicures/manicures at this place that j's bro's gf recommnended. haha was seriously quite impressed with my pedicure. haha till now i cant stop staring down at it!! Haha then after we went back to the hotel to put our stuff then went out again at night to the night market at phom phong hahaha if thats how it's spelt, quite dangerous thr sia, felt damn wary le. But it was ok in the end. :) Went back to the hotel after.
Haha next day was an IMBA SHOPPING DAY, cos like it was the last day of shopping on the trip ma. Haha went to platinum,where we bought a hell load of stuff. It was crowded with weekend ppl but it was still chilled. Haha anyway, after lunch at platinum, we took the train/lrt thingy to MO CHIT. haha where we went to chak-tu-chak, haha if thats the way it's meant to be spelt. Haha did imba shopping there too! Haha but by the end my arms were aching from the weight of my bags. Siannzz. haha and the crowd was a bit too imba ba. Haha. But still i felt ok, it's comparable to bugis streets ma. Haha but someone's soul 'died' thr cos she doesn't like crowds. haha then at night we went back, too tired to go out for dinner. haha so ordered room service and ate instant noodles. :)
Haha sun was going home day. At first our flight was supposed to be at 145. It was chilled but then it got delayed by almost 2 hours because of the air show in sg. SIANzz 4 hours of waiting seemed not chilled to me. But in the end it was still chilled cos we still managed to shop at the duty free section and have lunch in that time. SO...now it's HOME. Haha i'm glad to be in my own bed. Nothing like a time away to make you appreciate the comforts of home. :) haha not too mention, unpacking all my shopping stuff gave me the ecstatic feeling/ thrill i love. haha thank gosh i brought along that extra duffel bag. :D Haha. So all's well ends well. :) haha the entire trip was thankfully without any imba troubles or weird stuff. And everyone was great!! :D Very thankful la.. Haha. I don't mind going again sia, it was a good experience on the whole. :)
Haha anyway, ben's done with his homework now, so we're heading down for a swim..WHEE... :)
